The same note, without paper

The electronic consignment note has the same value as the paper one since the additional protocol to the CMR convention of 2008. What changes is not the content but the way it is issued, signed and kept, and the fact that everyone involved sees the same document at the same time.

DGAssistant issues it from the shipment, gives it its own number and sends the driver an access code, so that the note can be signed at the loading dock without installing anything.

Issue, sign and follow

The life of the note is recorded as it happens, and every step leaves its trace:

The business data are kept in a neutral form, so the way of working does not depend on the technical route the note takes.

• Issue: the note is validated before leaving, so that a missing carrier or a place that does not match the journey is found before the vehicle does.
• Signature: on glass at the dock or by the signatories you designate, each one with their role in the contract.
• Follow-up: the states of the journey arrive as normalised events, so the note says where it is without anyone calling.
• Changes after issue: a change of vehicle, of driver or of delivery place is recorded with its reason, and the note keeps what it was before.
• Evidence: the report gathers the signatures, the time stamps and the documents that the driver added during the journey.

Sharing without losing control

The note can be shared with the people who need it —the consignee expecting the load, the customer who asks for proof of delivery— without giving anyone access to the rest of your data. The delivery note, the invoice or the photographs of the load travel with it when you decide they should.

If the journey ends on paper because the route is not covered, the application says so before issuing and produces the printed note with the same content.
