Three levels: work center, company and group

To keep repetitive work to a minimum, DGAssistant organises data in three levels -work center, company and group of companies- which is what allows a safety adviser or a waste manager to handle many customers of any size without duplicating anything.
If you define a product or a consignee at company level, every work center of that company uses it automatically; if you define it at group level, every company in the group has it. The definition lives where it is true, and it is written once.
Shipments, receipts and documents belong to their work center, so figures can be read by center, by company or by group without separating databases or exporting anything.
Permissions that follow the same structure
What each user may read and what they may write is configured independently and at each level. A user can, for instance, use every product up to group level while creating only within their own work center.
That is what lets an operator work quickly with no risk of touching the master data, and a safety adviser review everything without holding an administrator's password.
Customers of an adviser or a waste manager
Distributors work in the same application as their customers: each customer sees their own data, the distributor sees all of them, and the shared catalog -products, packagings, contacts- is maintained once.
When a customer leaves, their data leave with them. When one arrives, they start with the catalog already made instead of an empty database.
