The regulations change; your paperwork should not be your problem

Dangerous goods regulations change constantly, and with them the documents, the packing instructions and the procedures for dispatch and receipt. Every change is an opportunity to fall out of compliance without noticing, which is exactly the risk that a shipment cannot afford.

DGAssistant is kept up to date with the editions in force without you having to do anything. We do it for you: the lists, the limits, the special provisions and the format of every document travel with the edition.

The framework in force today

• United States: 49 CFR, parts 171 to 180, for domestic transportation under the rules of the Department of Transportation.
• Road in Europe: ADR 2025, in force since 1 January 2025, with the transitional measures of chapter 1.6.
• Sea: IMDG Code, amendment 42-24, applicable with its own transitional period.
• Air: IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations of the current year, with the state and operator variations.

What changes for you when an edition changes

Nothing in your way of working. Your products keep their classification, your shipments keep their history and the documents come out with the wording of the new edition from the day it applies.

Where a change does affect a product -a new special provision, a limit that moves, a packing instruction that is withdrawn- the application shows it where you are going to see it, which is when you use that product in a shipment.
