The road transport document, created from your own data
DGAssistant creates the ADR transport document -the hazardous materials note that accompanies every road shipment- from the shippers, consignees, carriers and products you already have in your database. Select a consignee or create one on the go, choose the goods, state the quantities and the application writes the entry in the order and with the wording that Chapter 5.4.1 of the ADR requires.
Waste is just as quick, with the WASTE prefix and the wording of 5.4.1.1.3, and so are empty uncleaned packagings, vehicles and tanks, which the application describes as 5.4.1.1.6 requires instead of leaving it to the person typing.
The current road framework is the ADR 2025, and the format of every document follows it. When the edition changes, the documents change with it and you do not have to do anything.
The 1.1.3.6 exemption, calculated for you
The application adds up the quantities of each transport category and applies the exemption of 1.1.3.6 whenever the shipment allows it, showing the breakdown per category and the total points so that the driver and the loader can see why the shipment is exempt.
That calculation is the one that decides whether the vehicle needs orange plates, a fire extinguisher of a given capacity or a driver with an ADR training certificate. Getting it wrong is expensive in both directions: an unnecessary full-regime shipment costs money, and an exemption claimed by mistake is a penalty at the roadside.
Formats, copies and what happens next
The transport document is exported to PDF, Excel and Word, can be sent by email from the application itself and is filed with the shipment, so the copy that the ADR asks you to keep is already where you will look for it.
From the same shipment the application issues the instructions in writing in the language of the crew, the checklist for the loading operation and the package marking, so that one screen produces the whole set of paperwork instead of three separate jobs.
