Document required for national road carriage in Spain by Law 15/2009 and Order FOM/2861/2012, which evidences the contract of carriage and identifies the parties, the vehicle and the goods. The consignment note may replace it when it contains the same particulars.

IATA marking and document indication that the consignment is restricted to cargo aircraft only and may not be carried on passenger aircraft.

Consignment note that evidences the contract of carriage under the CMR Convention. It is made out in three original copies signed by the sender and by the carrier: the first copy for the sender, the second copy accompanying the goods and the third copy retained by the carrier.

Declaration signed by the person responsible for the packing of dangerous goods into a container or vehicle, certifying that packing has been carried out in accordance with the regulations.

Inscriptions, signs and identification information physically applied on a package, IBC, large packaging, tank, container or vehicle (UN number, proper shipping name, packaging mark, orientation arrows, environmentally hazardous mark, etc.) as required by 5.2.1 ADR/IMDG and 7.1 IATA. The term "marking" refers to the act of applying these marks.

Grouped consignment that brings together several house consignments in the same transport unit or trip, under a single consolidator, a single set of transport documents and a single reference number.

Standardised multimodal transport document for dangerous goods that combines the IMO Dangerous Goods Declaration and the container/vehicle packing certificate.

Total mass of explosive substances (without packagings) of an item or consignment of Class 1, expressed in kilograms.

Net mass (or volume for liquids and gases) of dangerous goods in a package, excluding the packaging.

IATA shipment type indicating that the consignment may be carried on passenger or cargo aircraft, subject to the corresponding quantity limits.

Enlarged labels affixed to the exterior surfaces of cargo transport units (containers, bulk containers, MEGCs, tank-containers, portable tanks and vehicles) to indicate the hazards of the dangerous goods contained. Placarding is required for road transport (ADR 5.3.1) and for sea transport (IMDG Code 5.3.1); air transport does not use placards, only package marks and labels.

IATA shipper's declaration certifying that the consignment is fully and accurately described and complies with the applicable regulations for air transport.
