How licenses are structured and which option fits your organization.
How does the licensing model work?
You buy one license per regulation (IATA, IMDG, ADR). With a license you can create unlimited shipments, contacts and products; what the license controls is concurrent usage.
How many concurrent users can I have?
Concurrent usage equals the number of licenses you own. For example, if you buy 2 IMDG licenses and 2 IATA licenses, you can have 2 users working on IMDG and 2 on IATA at the same time. You can create as many user profiles as you like; only the number connected at the same time is constrained.
What's the difference between Internal Expert and Professional licenses?
Internal Expert (sometimes called "Expert") licenses are aimed at users inside the company that owns the subscription and grant full permissions. Professional licenses are aimed at end-users (typically inside a client of an external safety adviser) and have a more focused permission set. Consolidation licenses open the grouping of the shipments of several shippers — master shipments, transport equipment and transport movements, with their segregation checks and their reports — and are taken by forwarders, consolidators and shipping agents on top of the user licenses above.
Do you offer a white-label option?
Yes. The white-label setup hides DGAssistant branding completely: the application is served from your own subdomain (for example app.yourbrand.com), the login screen does not say "Powered by DGAssistant" and the generated documents carry your brand instead of ours. You also get a dedicated virtual server.
I'm a safety advisor working with several clients. How does that work?
DGAssistant has a dedicated Safety Adviser path. You buy the Safety Adviser license for yourself and Professional licenses for each client; you can supervise their data, prepare documents on their behalf, and share documents with them via email or our document manager (so clients without a license can still view what you produce). If a client wants to create documents themselves they need their own license.
Can I become a distributor or reseller?
Yes. We work with three partner profiles: standard distributor (you take a Safety Adviser license and resell Professional licenses to your clients with the margin you choose), white-label distributor (your own brand, dedicated infrastructure, never mentioning DGAssistant), and sales agent (significant discount on Safety Adviser licenses in exchange for prospecting). Can my clients view my documents without buying a license?
Yes. You can email the documents directly or share them through the DGAssistant document manager. Viewing documents, you have produced does not require a license on the client side. Only creating documents requires a license.
